RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE THE OFF-STREET
PARKING FACILITIES ALONG RAMONA BOULEVARD AND APPROV-
ING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park has entered into a
Lease with the Pacific Electric Railway Company on certain
portions of the Railroad Right of Way along Ramona Boulevard
for off-street public parking lots, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the efficient operation
of said facilities that they be improved,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does RESOLVE^ DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council does hereby declare its
intention to improve the off-street parking facilities along
Rainona Boulevard, Baldwin Park, California, by grading and
paving of the parking areas and by all other items and facil-
ities necessary for, or incidental to said paving and grading
and orders the Improvement to be made.
SECTION 2: The Plans and Specifications for said off-
street parking improvements as prepared by the City Engineer
are adopted and approved and all work shall be done in accord-
ance therewith.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall post or publish Notices
Inviting Bids pursuant to the applicable statutes of the State
of California, which Notice shall call for Bids to be opened
by the City Council at the Council meeting of March 17, 1958.

I, ELMER COOK, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park,
California, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of
Intention was duly adopted by the City Council of the said City
and was approved by the Mayor of said City at a regular meeting
of said City Council held on the 3rd day of March, 1958, and that
it was adopted by the following vote:
