RESOLUTION AUIHORIZING BXBCUHCN OF A CONTRACT BETMBBN
TOE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF BALDWIN MRK
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 33, STATUIES OF 1956, FIRST
EXTRAORDINARY SESSION.
WEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park has previously requested the
State Department of Finance to provide planning assistance to it under
authority of Chapter 33, Statutes of 1956, First Extraordinary Session,
in conjunction with Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954; and
WIEREAS, the State has accordingly prepared a proposed agreement
between the City and State entitled Agreement Between the State of
California and the City of Baldwin Park relating to Urban Planning
Assistance-, further identified as LPCMP/14-CS-1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows)
1, I&at Mayor Henry J* Little John is hereby authorized and directed
to execute the aforesaid agreement with the State on behalf of the City,
and the City agrees to be bound by the terms thereof.
2* That the Mayor, the Finance Director and City Treasurer are
authorized and directed to issue a check in the amount of $7,000.00, and
te deposit said sum of money with the State of California, to be
administered in accordance with the terms of such agreement*
3. Passed by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park this
7th day of April, 1958,
