RESOLUTION OF TEiE CITY COUNCIL OF THE GITI OF
BALDWIN PAl-lK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO iiENOVATE AND
maiODEL THE OLD CENTRAL SCHOOL BUILDING FOR USE AS A
CITY HALL.
WHEREAS, the City of Bald-win Park has entered into a lease with
the Baldwin Park School District for the use of the Old Central School
property as a Civic Center, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the efficient operation of City
business to repair and improve said facilities for the purpose for
which leased.
NO-?, OHEREFQRE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMUE AND ORDER as follows;
SECTION 1: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to improve the Old Central School Building for use as a City Hall by
renovating and remodeling said building,
SECTION 2; The Plans and Specifications for said renovating and
remodeling as prepared by C»R» Teeter, Planning Department, are adopted and
approved and all work shall be done in accordance therewith.
SECTION 3i The City Clerk shall post or publish Notices
Inviting Bids pursuant to applicable statutes of the State of California,
which Notice shall call for Bids to be opened by the City Council at the
Council meeting of May 195o»
