RESOLUTION NO, 5W
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OP BALDWIN PARK
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OP HOLT STREET
TO PACIFIC, AVENUE AND SETTING A TIME AND PLAGE FOR THE PUB-
LIC HEARING THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the Planning CommisdLon of the City of Baldwin Park
has recommended to the City Council that the street within the
City which is now known by and named Holt Street be changed to
Pacific Avenue, and
WHHREAS, the City Council desires that a public hearing be
held prior to the change of name,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby declare its intention to change the name of that
certain street within the City now known by and named
Holt Street, to the new name of Pacific Avenue.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
declare that it will hold a public hearing regarding its
Intention to change the name of Holt Street to Pacific
Avenue on the 19th day of May, 1958,
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park shall
cause a copy of this Resolution to be published at least
once in a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall further cause to be posted
copies of this Resolution in at least three 3) public
places along the street so affected by this Resolution*
The posting shall be completed at least ten 10) days be-
fore the date set for the public hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this Jgth day of May, 1958.
