RESOLUTION OP TOE CITY COTOCIL OF THE CITY
OP BALDWIN PARK COMMEMORATINQ A. A. BLAKESLEY
FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park was incorporated
as a General Law City of the State of California In the County
of Los Angeles on the 25th day of January, 1956, and
HEREAS, A. A. BLAKESLEY was appointed by the City
Council as the First City Engineer of the City of Baldwin Park,
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Blakesley has guided the City in re-
gard to its engineering and public works programs through its
formative years with honesty, intelligence and unswerving de-
votion,
MOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COBNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1; MR. A. A. BLAKESLEY, the first City
Engineer of the City of Baldwin Park is granted this Resolution
in commemoration of his meritorious service to the City of
Baldwin Park.
SECTION 2; Mr. Blakesley's services to the City
of Baldwin Park have been exemplary in character, and he has
performed his duty impartially and with fairness and equality
to all.
SECTION 3: To A. A. BLAKESLEY, the City Council
of the City of Baldwin Park extends its heartfelt gratitude
of all li-a Inhabitants.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City Council of the City
of Baldwin Park has caused this Resolution to be adopted by
the unanimous vote of the members thereof on the i6th day of
JBOB 195o, and has caused the same to be subscribed by
the entire membership of the City Council on said date.
