A RESOLUTION OF IHB CITY COUNCIL OF TOE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AND ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1958-59.
HHEREAS, the City Administration has prepared and submitted to the
City Council a proposed tentative budget for the 1958-59 fiscal year, starting
July 1, 1958, and
WEREAS, the City Council as the legislative body of the City has
reviewed and modified this proposed budget, and
WEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary for
the efficient management of the City that certain suras of revenue of the City
be appropriated to the various departments, offices, agencies, and activities
of the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1; That the original of the said proposed tentative budget
for the City of Baldwin Park, California, for the said fiscal year 1958-59 as
so submitted, amended, modified and corrected and which, as so submitted,
amended, modified and corrected is now before this Council, be placed on file
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, California, open
to public inspection and that as so on file, the same be and it is hereby
referred to and by this reference expressly incorporated herein and made a
part hereof,
SBCTIQN 2; That said City Council of said City of Baldwin Park,
California, does hereby approve and adopt said proposed tentative budget of
the City of Baldwin Park for the fiscal year 1958-59 as so amended, modified
and corrected.
SECTION 3: That said City Council does hereby order and instruct
that said tentative Budget shall be for fiscal year 1958-59 and does hereby
order and instruct that no department of said City shall be allowed to pur-
chase any capital items of equipment or proceed with any public works project
except those as approved in said tentative budget hereby approved and adopted
without further approval of said City Council first had and obtained thereto,
SECTION 4; That this resolution shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 5: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
resolution; shall cause the original of the same to be entered in the book
of resolutions of said City of Baldwin Park and shall make a minute of the
passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City
Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is
passed and adopted.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of July 1958
