HomeMy WebLinkAbout1958 082 CC RESO1958 082 CC RESO¼òw @|_RESOLUTION NO. 58-32 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO REZONE THE NORTH- WEST CORNER OF BALDWIN PARK BOULE- VARD AND BESS AVENEU WALKER PROPERTY) Whereas, the Planning Commission and City Council of the City of Baldwin Park have held public hearings on the rezoning of the Walker property at the northwest corner of Baldwin Park Boulevard and Bess Avenue from A-l and R-3 to M-l and have determined that before such zone change can be granted public necessity, con- venience and general welfare require that the following be done: 1. Dedication of a strip of land twenty 20) feet wide along the Baldwin Park Boulevard frontage for street and highway purposes, and 2. Installation of concrete curbs, gutters and hookup to the existing pavement, along Baldwin Park Boulevard and Bess Avenue, in accordance with City specifications, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park do6s resolve and declare its intention as follows: Section 1. That it will pass an ordinance rezoning said real property from A-l and R-3 to M-l, provided the above require- ments are met by August 1, 1959, or sooner upon demand of the City Council.
