THE CTTY OF BALDWIN PARK RETAINING
THE LAV FIR11 OF F2RGUS01: & JUDGE TO
DEFEND TIIE CITY IN TIIE JOSENIIANS AND
IIOPKINS-CAILLIER CASES
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve as follows;
Section 1. The law firn of Ferguson & Judge, 128 East Amerige Avenue,
Fullerton, California, consisting of Warren J. Ferguson and James E» Judge,
Attorneys at Law, is retained to defend the City of Baldwin Park, its officers,
agents and employees, in the cases of Josenhans vs» City of Baldwin Park and
Hopkins-Caillier vs. City of Baldwin Park» until judgment has become final,
including appeals. This retainer shall be retroactively effective to July 1,
1958.
Section 2, The City agrees to pay said attorneys the sum of Twenty-
five Dollars 2$«00) per hour for research, office preparation, and time
spent in court in the defense of said cases. Bills for services rendered
shall be submitted on or before the 15th of each month for services rendered
the previous month*
Section 3< The City shall pay all costs necessary to the defense of
said cases^
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of August, 1958.

certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of
the City of Baldwin Park and was approved by the Mayor of said City at a regular
meeting of said City Council held on the llth day of August, 1958, and that it
was adopted by the following vote;
