RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OP
THE CITY OP BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA,
FINDING CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY
SEWERS AND APPURTENANCES AND
APPURTENANT WORK AND PROCEEDINGS
THEREFOR NECESSARY AS A HEALTH
MEASURE.

WHEREAS, plans and specifications designated,
respectively, Plan No. 1957-4 Revised" and Specifications
No. 1957-4 Revised" for the construction of certain sanitary
sewer work in the City of Baldwin Park, California, have
heretofore been approved by this City Council and ordered
filed; and
WHEREAS, a written report and recommendations of
the Health Officer of the County of Los Angeles and of the
City of Baldwin Park, determining that the construction of
said work shown on said plans and in said specifications
and proceedings for such construction under the Improvement
Act of 1911 are necessary as a health measure, and recommend-
ing said work and proceedings as a health measure, has been
presented to this City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, FIND AND
DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1, That the determination and recommenda-
tion of said Health Officer of the County of Los Angeles and

be spread upon the minutes of this City Council.
Section 2. That the construction of said work
shown upon said plans and in said specifications is necessary
as a health measure; that proceedings for the construction
of said work are necessary as a health measure; that pro-
ceedings under the Improvement Act of 1911 for the construc-
tion of said work are necessary as a health measure and that
such necessity is hereby found to exist.
Section 3- That in view of the foregoing no
further steps or proceedings under the Special Assessment
Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931
are required and none shall be taken,
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of
September____, 1958.

Gentlemen;
y attention has been directed to the proposed constraction of certain sanitary
sewers in the City of Baldwin Park, under the Improvement Act of 1911, Division
7 of the streets and Highways Code, Constraction of said sewage facilities is
& own on Plan No. 1957-4, devised, showing improvements and as described in speci-
fications i'o. 1957-4, revised, prepared by the City of Baldwin Park. The territory
to be served by saiu sewage facilities and to be benefited by such vork is shown on
a map designated as Iiap of Assessm3nt District Ko» 1957-4> devised, showing the
general nature, location and extent of improvements in Lhe assessment Ji^trict,
I ha.\Q examined generally the above mentioned plan^j specific? lions and map of
assessment di trict. I have also made or caused Lo be made an investigation of
said terr'tory and the existing se./age facilities serving Sc^ld territory, This
Investigat'on reveals that existing sewage facilities arc inadequate and there
Is a serious n-^ed for anJ public health requires the construction of additional
sewage lacilitiec to sei*ve Lhis tfirritory,
Pursuant to your request and ac licalt-h Officer of the County of Los An^cl^s and of
the Cit^' of Idwin Park, I find and re cor-mend as follows:
1. That he construction of the sewaj^ facilities 5hown and described
on the above mentioned pi'ins and specifications is necessary as a
health measure.
2. That proceedings for the construction of said sewage facilities arc
necessary as a heslu i measure; and
