1958 138 CC RESOxJ Ö ² will be benefited by the arid proposed annexation to the uinteaanee district,
ad hereby consents to the inclusion of aid lands within the proposed annexation
and to the assessaent thereof.
3ECTIQII k
That the consent of thie City Council ia hereby given to the cooReacoaent
of the proceedings for eaid annexation to County Lighting Maintenance Diatrict
Bo. 17U by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Loa Angeles, and to the
exercise of exclusive jurisdiction of said Board of Supervisors oTer all proceed-
ings neeeeaary thereto for the purpose of conswaating the sane, all in accordance
with the provisions of DiTiaion 7 of the Streets and Highways Code.
8BCTIQM 5
That the Clerk of the City Council is hereby directed to certify and deliver
two copies of this resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Los Angeles.
SBCTIOtI 6
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution by the City
Council of the City of Baldwin Park and shall cause the saae to be posted in three
3) conspicuous places in the City of Baldwin Park, and it shall thereupon take
effect.
I HEREBY CERTIFT that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Baldwin Park at its meeting held December t_____,

In the City of Baldwin Park)
Beginning at the most northerly corner of Tract No. 13869, as
shown on map recorded in Book 619» pages 47 and 4^ of Maps, in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles; thence south-
westerly in a direct line to the most westerly corner of said tract;
thence southeasterly in a direct line through the most southerly
corner of said tract to the center line of Vineland Avenue, as shown
on said map; thence southwesterly along said center line to the
northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly line of Parcel 11,
as shown on map filed in Book 22, pape 26 of Record of Surveys, in
the office of said recorder; thence southeasterly along said pro-
longation and southwesterly line to a line that is parallel with and
130 feet southeasteriy^ measured at right angles, from said center
line; thence northeasterly along said parallel line to the boundary
of Baldwin Park Lighting District, as same existed on November 3,
1958; thence northwesterly, northeasterly and northwesterly along
said boundary to the point of beginning<

3he Board of Supervisors hereby fixes the
day of 19____, at the
hour of o'clock a.m« as the day and hour, and the Hearing
Room of the Board of Supervisors in the Hall of Records, City of Los Angeles,
as the place, for hearing upon the question of annexation of said territory,
when and where any and ail persons having objections to the proposed annexation
or to the inclusion of any property within the proposed annexation, may appear
before said Board of Supervisors and show cause why said proposed annexation
should not be made in accordance with this resolution of intention.
The clerk is hereby directed to cause notice of tne time, place and
purpose of said hearing to be published once a week for two successive weeks
in the a newspaper of
general circulation which the Board of Supervisors deems most likely to give
notice of said hearing to the inhabitants of said district and of said
territory proposed to be annexed; and to cause notices of said hearing to be
posted not less than 10 days prior to the date set for the hearing in three
conspicuous places within the territory proposed to be annexed and within
said County Lighting Maintenance District No, W^A all in the fora
and manner prescribed in section 5838 of the Streets and Highways Code.
