A RESOLUTION OF SHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK RECOMMENDING A NAME FOR THE CALIFORNIA
HIGHWAY PATROL SUB-STATION IN BALDWIN PAEK.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City of Baldwin Park that the California Highway Patrol will
locate their area offices in said city on or before January 1,
1959 and
WHEREAS, the City Council is aware that the present
name of the sub-station is El Monte Area Office, and
WHEREAS, it is customary to designate the area offices
of the California Highway Patrol according to their geographic
locations, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
desires its wishes to be known,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that;
Section 1, Ihe California Highway Patrol change the
name of the future area sub-station to be located in the City of
Baldwin Park from El Monte Area Office to Baldwin Park Area
Office.
Section 2^ A copy of this resolution shall be forward-
ed to Bernard Caldwell, Commissioner of California Highway Patrol,
Sacramento, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this l5th day of
December, 19$8.
