A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OP THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK GRANT-
ING TAXICAB PERMIT AND CERTIFICATE
OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
TO 0. D, STALIANS, DOING BUSINESS
AS YELLOW CAB COMPANY.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, 0. D. Stalians, doing business as YELLOW
CAB COMPANY, has applied for a permit and certificate of
public convenience and necessity to engage in the taxicab
business in the City of Baldwin Park pursuant to Chapter
5, Article VI of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said application has been approved by
the Chief of Police and recommended by the Chief Admin-
istrative Officer, and
WHEREAS, no hearing appears to be necessary,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council finds that the
service proposed by applicant is required by the public
necessity and convenience, that the only taxicab owner
presently serving the City will no longer be in business
as soon as the applicant is authorized to operate in the
City of Baldwin Park, and that applicant is fit, willing
and able, financially and otherwise, to comply with all
applicable laws and regulations, and it is hereby deter-
mined that applicant be, and he hereby is, granted a
permit and certificate of public convenience and neces-
sity to engage in the taxicab business in the City of
Baldwin Park,
