CITS OF B6LDWIN PARK APPH07ING AN AGREEMENT WISH
J.B. H&MAUEE & CO, TO ACT AS FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS
TO THE CITT AMD AVffiORIZING SHE MfiJOR ABD OTHER

ifiIERE&S, the City of Baldwin Park has taken the preliminary
steps to provide the necessary engineering data for a comprehensive
sewer installation program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes the success of such a
program requires sound financial and fiscal planning as related to
the variouss types of finances for such a programj and
HHEREAS, the firm of J.B» Hanauer & Go. will not only
famish the City complete technical data as related to the fiscal
aspects of the program, but also assist the City and other
community organizations in informing the public of the project^ and
WHEREAS, the firm of J»B. Hanauer & Co. is widely known
in the field of financial consulting services; and
HHEEEAS, the ultimate interest rate is dependent upon the
attractiveness of the bonds that may be offered for salej and
TIHEEEAS, this firm has handled many such bond issues and
successfully sold such bonds at a favorable interest rate through
their contacts with most municipal bond markets; and
IfflERE&S, numerous agencies presently or formerly served
by this firm have expressed complete satisfaction with their operation
and have spoken highly of their professional integrityj
NOW, 3HEEEFOSE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does resolve as follows:
Section 1. 3hat said agreement is hereby approved and the
Mayor is authorized to sign and the City Clerk to attest an agree-
ment in regard thereto for and on behalf of the City.
