A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTEN-
TION TO VACATE A PORTION OF VALLE VISTA
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the public interest, necessity
and welfare require and it is the intention of the City
Council of the City of Baldwin Park to vacate a portion
of Valle Vista Avenue as follows:
A strip or parcel of land 5 feet in width
and 72 feet in length, being the most southerly
5 feet of Lot 52- P, Valley View Acres, as per
Book 12, Pages 86 and 87 of Maps, recorded in
the office of the County Recorder, in the County
of Los Angeles, State of California; lying
parallel with the north line of Valle Vista
Avenue.
Section 2. That reference is hereby made to Map
No. V-59-5, heretofore adopted by this City Council and
on file in the office of the City Clerk, for further par-
ticulars of this proposed vacation.
Section 3. That notice is given that on Monday,
the fifth day of October, 1959^ at 8:00 p.m., in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall, 14403 East Pacific
Avenue, in the City of Baldwin Park, any and all persons
Interested or objecting to the proposed vacation of said
portion of Valle Vista Avenue, may appear before said
City Council and be heard or show cause why said vacation
should not be carried out in accordance with this resolu-
tion of intention.
Section 4. That the proceedings for said vacation
shall be had and taken under and in accordance with the
provisions of the Vacation Act of 1941.CT
Section 5. That the City Engineer of said City
shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the portion
of Valle Vista Avenue to be vacated, notice of street
vacation in the time, manner and form required by said
Act.

this resolution of intention not later than September 18.,
1959^ once in the Baldwin Park Bulletin or San Gabriel
Valley Tribune.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 8th day of September
1959.
