A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OP BALDWIN PARK NAM-
ING CERTAIN STREETS.
WHEREAS, certain of the frontage roads adjacent to
the San Bernardino Freeway are unnamed or have names that
conflict with other street names; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said streets
should be named or have their present names changed as
hereinafter provided,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does resolve as follows:
1. That the frontage road north of the San Ber-
nardino Freeway from Rivergrade Rodd to Tracy Street
where Maine Avenue intersects the freeway on the north
side, from Franclsquito Avenue to Merced Avenue, and from
Puente Avenue easterly to the City boundary is named Qarvey
Avenue.
2. That the frontage road on the south side of
said freeway from Rivergrade Road easterly beyond Baldwin
Park Boulevard where it turns northeasterly to the freeway,
and from Pranclsqulto Avenue easterly to the boundary line
of the City of Baldwin Park is named Dalewood Street.
3. That the street which runs southeasterly from
said Dalewood Street where it turns east of Baldwin Park
Boulevard is named Maine Avenue.
4. That the street which is south of the freeway
and runs southeasterly from Virginia Avenue to Vineland
Avenue is named Whitesell Street.
5. That the new street running northeasterly which
is east of and parallel to Puente Avenue is named La Vista
Avenue.
6. That the City Clerk shall promptly forward a
certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Super-
visors of Los Angeles County.
