A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO
PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY
TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID
CITY ON APRIL 12, i960.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election is to be held In the City
of Baldwin Park on April 12, 1960;
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation
thereto, it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling place cards
to the registered voters of the City, and it will facilitate such mailing if
the Registrar of Voters of the County of Los Angeles will prepare and furnish
the City the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters
of said City on i.B.M. polling place card forms furnished by the City and
after imprinting and bursting the forms, will insert the polling place card
and sample ballot into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall
be paid by the City of Baldwin Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows:
SECTION I. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 9485
of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council
hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the
Registrar of Voters to prepare and furnish to said City, for use in
conducting said election to be held on April 12, 1960, the imprinting of
the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on I.B.M.
polling place card forms furnished by the City and after imprinting and
bursting the forms, to insert the polling place card and sample ballots
into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City.
SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County for
services performed when the work is completed and upon presentation
to the City of a properly approved bill.

Z P H Ÿ8SECTION 5. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to said Registrar of Voters,
each a certified copy of this resolution.

Notice is hereby given that a General Municipal
Election will be held n the City of Baldwin Park on Tuesday,
the l2th day of April, I960, for the following officers:

Full term of four years)
The polls wilt be open between the hours of 7:00 A.M,
and 7:00 P.M.
