A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK GRANTING A
ZONE EXCEPTION TO DEAR-BANK CORPORATION
TO USE SCREW MACHINES AT 5139 ELTON
STREET. ZONE EXCEPTION CASE ZE-32.
WHEREAS, Dear-Bank Corporation plans to build
a machine shop at 5139 Elfcon Street, In the City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
legally described as:
That portion of the North one-half of
the West one-half of the West one-half of the
Northwest one-quarter of the Northeast one-
quarter of Section 8, Township 1 South, Range
10 West, described as follows;
Beginning at the Intersection of the
easterly line of North Eiton Street and the
South line of East Arrow Highway; thence South
211.00 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence West 185.00 feet; thence North 60 feet;
thence West 45.00 feet; thence South 167.48
feet. thence East 205.00 feet; thence North
107.48 feet to the true point of beginning;
and
WHEREAS, said property is zoned M-l; and
WHEREAS screw machines cannot be operated in an
M-l zone without an exception; and
WHEREAS, Dear-Bank Corporation has applied for
a zone exception to operate six 6) screw machines in
said machine shop; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission duly held a
public hearing on said application after giving requisite
notice thereof and has recommended that the exception be
granted subject to certain conditions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has duly held a pub-
lic hearing on the granting of said exception after giving
requisite notice,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does resolve as follows:

Z P H ï8Section 1. That said Dear-Bank Corporation is
hereby granted an exception from the zoning provisions of
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, permitting it to operate
six 6) screw machines in a machine shop to be erected on
the property above described.
Section 2. That said exception is granted on
the following conditions:
1. The machine shop is to be erected on
the north portion of the property,
2. The screw machines are to be located
in the extreme northwest of the proposed
machine shop.
3. The Dear-Bank Corporation is to deed
five 5) feet of its frontage on Eiton Street
to the City of Baldwin Park for street widen-
ing purposes.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk this____4th______day of
