Z P I S8RESOLUTION NO. 60-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK OPPOSING
MANDATORY STATE LEGISLATION PERTAIN-
ING TO CITY EMPLOYMENT.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does resolve as follows:
Section 1. Mandatory state legislation per-
taining to City employees' wages, benefits and conditions
of employment is in violation of the home rule principle.
Section 2. The State Legislature is urged to
oppose any such legislation.
Section 3. The City Clerk Is instructed to
send certified copies of this resolution to Assemblymen
Ernest R. Geddes and Ronald Brooks Cameron.
ADOPTED by the City Council, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk this 18th____
