HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960 104 CC RESO1960 104 CC RESOxJêÁRESOLUTION NO. 60-IQ4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ESTABLISH- ING GREEN PARKING ZONES, WHITE LOA1>- ING ZONE, AND RED ZONE IN FRQNT OF NEW U. S. POST OFFICE AT 4230 N. MAINE AND GENERAL TELEPHONE BUILDING AT 14456 RAMONA BOULEVARD. WHEREAS, after study and recommendation by the City Engineer, the City Council finds and determines that there is need for a green twenty 20) minute parking limit, white loading zones and red no parking zones in front of the U. S. Post Office and General Telephone Building; N0«f, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park as follows: SECTION 1. That a time limit of twenty 20) minutes on parking, stopping or standing is hereby established along eighty 80) feet of curb space beginning at the radius of the curve at Maine Avenue and Palmrose; that said spaces shall be marked green and shall be divided into four parking spaces of twenty 20) feet each. The first forty 40) foot space commencing thirty-four 54) feet south of the driveway entrance to the Post Office and the second forty 40) foot space commencing ten 10) feet south of the terminal of the first forty 40) foot zone. SECTION 2. That a time limit of twenty 20) minutes on parking, stopping or standing is hereby established along forty 40) feet of curb space in front of 14456 Ramona Boulevard; that said space shall be divided into two 2) spaces of twenty 20) feet each and shall be marked green. SECTION 5. That a loading zone for the loading or unloading of passengers, or for the purpose of depositing mail In an adjacent mail box, limited to three 5) minutes, as provided in Section 5569 a) 55 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, is hereby established along twenty-four 24) feet of curb space in front of the new U, S. SECTION 4. That parking, stopping and standing are prohibited along the ten 10) feet of curb space lying between the driveway entrance to said new U. S. Post Office and said white loading zone and the ten 10) feet of curb space adjacent to the green zones established in Section I of this resolution; that said space shall be marked red.
