A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DENYING AN
APPLICATION FOR A ZONE CHANGE
APPLICANT: F. J. SALMEN & ASSOCIATES;
LOCATION: 3575 AND 3581 PATRITTI
AVENUE, AND 12675 BLENHEIM STREET;
CASE NO. Z-327).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare, as
follows:
a) That the owners of certain real
property, hereinafter described, have hereto-
fore filed an application for a change in the
zone classification of said property, from
Zone R-l to Zone C-2; and
b) That the property to which said
application relates is located at 3575 and
3581 Patritti Avenue, and 12675 Blenheim
Street in the City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, as is
more particularly described on said appli-
cation hereinabove referred to; and
c) That the Planning Commission con-
ducted a duly noticed public hearing upon
said application, and thereafter denied said
application by its Resolution No. PC70-34; and
d) That the applicant filed a timely
appeal, appealing the decision of the
Commission to the City Council; and
e) That the City Council conducted
duly noticed public hearings upon said
appeal and based upon the evidence presented
at said hearings, the Planning Commission's
files and records, and each member of the
Council being familiar with the site, the
said Council determined that the public
interest, convenience and necessity do not
require such reclassification.
SECTION 2. That the above described application for
a zone reclassification be, and the same hereby is, denied
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a certified
copy hereof to the Secretary of the Planning Commission
and to the applicant.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 4th day of November 1970
