A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 5870, ET SEQ., OF TKE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
71-S-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That more than fifty percent 50%) of the curb, gutter, sidewalk,
and drive approach has been constructed^ or guaranteed in the follow-
ing blocks:
1. South side of Nubia Street between Bleecker Street
and Borel Street 71-S-2) curb and gutter)
2. South side of Olive Street between Bresee Avenue
and Stewart Avenue 71-S-3) sidewalk and drive
approach)
3. Southwest side of Francisquito Avenue between
Cosbey Avenue and Ramona Boulevard 71-S-4)
sidewalk and drive approach)
4. East side of Eiton Street between Nubia Street
and Olive Street 71-S-5) curb and gutter)
5. Southeast side of Frazier Street between Fair-
grove Street and Dart Street 71-S-6) sidewalk
and drive approach)
6. Southeast side of Robinette Avenue between
Tracy Street and Francisquito Avenue C71-S-7)
curb, gutter, sidewalk and drive approach)
b) That it is the intention of the City Council to cause curi,
gutter, sidewalk and drive approach, hereinafter, improvements"
to be constructed at the sole expense of the owners of properties
in and along said above described areas, pursuant to Section 5870,
et seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby instructed
to mail and post notices to construct said improvements, as required by law.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to said Section 5870, et seq., the City
Council does hereby declare that on the 3rd day of February, 1971, at 7:30
P.*4., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard in the Council Chambers
at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California, it will hear and pass
upon any and all objections and protests to the ordering of the construction
of said improvements.
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and filed with the
City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and shall forward copies hereof to the Superintendent of Streets,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of January________/ 1971.
