A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DIRECTING
THE GIVING OF ADDITIONAL NOTICE TO
CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNERS AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD A PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT MAP IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE WITH REFERENCE TO
WALNUT STREET ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare, as
follows:
a) That the City Council has hereto-
fore adopted certain resolutions for the
formation of a special assessment district
pursuant to the provisions of the Improve-
ment Act of 1911, and Section 5000 et seq.,
of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California; and
b) That the protest hearing with
reference to said proposed District, pursuant
to Resolution No. 70-317 of this City Council,
established January 20, 1971, at the hour of
7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, 14403 E. Pacific Avenue, in the City of
Baldwin Park, California, as being the time
and place of said protest hearing; and
c) That by inadvertence, one of the
requirements of Section 3111 of said Streets
and Highways Code, was not complied with, in
that, the map of said proposed assessment
district was not filed with the County
Recorder within the time specified therein;
and
d) That all notices required pursuant
to all provisions of said Streets and Highways
Code, relating to said special assessment
district, were complied with; and
e) That the City Council has determined
that the public interest, convenience and
necessity require that said protest hearing
must be continued from said date of January 20,
1971, as called by the Resolution of Intention,
the same being Resolution No, 70-317, to the
3rd day of February, 1971, at 7:30 P.M., or
as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard,
in the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
14403 Eo Pacific Avenue, in the City of
Baldwin Park, California; and

f) That said continuance is
necessary to permit the timely recordation
of the said map of the proposed special
assessment district, and give further
supplemental written notice to all persons
interested in said proposed assessment
district; and
g) That the City Council has caused
the staff to investigate the circumstances
to determine whether any person, notwith-
standing the nature of any interest he may
have in the proposed district, would be
prejudiced by the fact of said continuance,
and based upon the said staff's recommendations
as a result of said investigation, it appears
that no such person will be so prejudiced.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to, forthwith, comply with the provisions of Section 3111
of the Streets and Highways Code, by filing and recording
a copy of the map as proposed by said assessment district
as provided by the provisions of said Section, Further,
the City Clerk is instructed and directed to give notice
to each person entitled to the s?ame, written mailed
notice of the fact of the continuance of said hearing.
The form of said notice shall be; as directed by the City
Attorney.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption of this Resolution^
