RESOLUTION NO. 71-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND DETER-
MINING THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE
AND ORDERING THE SAME ABATED 70-A-65)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and dec I are as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 5225 et seq., of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, proceedings were initiated to determine whether certain vehicles
constitute a public nuisance; and
b) That the property and vehicles which are the subject of such proceedings
are described as follows:
1) That property located at 4228 Center Street more
particularly described as follows: 0.55 acres on easterly line
of Center Street 50 feet wide commencing northerly thereon
264 feet from northerly line of Palm Avenue 40 feet wide thence
northerly on said easterly line 50 feet with a uniform depth of
505 feet easterly part of Lot 2 in Lot 18. 8546-26-7)
2) That the vehicles to which said proceedings relate
are as follows:

c) That a duly noticed public hearing on said matter was conducted
pursuant to Section 5227 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to determine whether a
public nuisance exists, and
d) That as a result of the evidence presented at said hearing, it was
determined that the same does constitute a public nuisance, and that the public
interest requires that the same be abated,
SECTION 2. That if the owners of said property, or others having an
interest therein, do not abate said nuisance by removing the vehicles from said
property or enclose the area where the vehicles are to be ocated with a view
obscuring wall within 60 days hyreof, the City Manager is instructed to abate
the same as provided in Section 5227 et seq. of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and cause a copy hereof to be forwarded to the City Manager.
