A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK SETTING A TIME AND
PLACE FOR A HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER
CERTAIN VEHICLES CONSTITUTE A PUBLIC
NUISANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 3226 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code, the City Manager has conducted an investigation and has recommended
that the City Council conduct a public hearing to determine whether
certain vehicles constitute a public nuisance within the meaning of
Section 3226 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
b) That the premises to which said recommendations relate are
described as follows:
1) That property located at 3648 Barnes Avenue more
particularly described as follows: Rancho La Puente 0.55 acres
commencing southerly 14°08' westerly 370 feet from most northerly
corner of Tract No. 10104 thence southerly 14°081 westerly 60
feet with a uniform depth of 400 feet southerly 75052t easterly.

2) That property located at 4828 Stancroft Avenue
more particularly described as follows: Northerly 50 feet of
southerly 328 feet of easterly 147.5 feet of southeasterly of
northwesterly 3< of Lot 8. 8414-21-7) 71-A-6)
c) That the vehicles to which the recommendation relates are
described as follows:
1) LNV 366 1953 Buick Stationwagon
2) JEE 822 1961 Dodge
d) That the said City Council has accepted the recommendation
of the City Manager.
SECTION 2. That on February 17, 1971 at 7:30 P. M. or as soon
thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, at the
City Hall, 14403 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California, is hereby
designated as the time and place for a public hearing to determine whether
the vehicles herein described constitute a public nuisance within the
meaning of said Section 3226 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager is hereby instructed to give
Notice of Public Hearing as set forth in Section 3227 of the said Baldwin
Park Municipal Code•
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and cause a copy hereof to be forwarded to the City
Manager.
