Home My WebLink About1971 039 CC RESO1971 039 CC RESO8f;¢fçWRESOLUTION NO. 71- 59 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND DETER- MINING THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING THE SAME ABATED 71-A-l) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: I a) That pursuant to Section 3225 et seq., of the Ba.'.dwin Park Municipal Code/ proceedings were initiated to determine whether certain vehicles constitute a public nuisance; and b) That the property and vehicles which are the subject of such proceedings are described as follows: 1) That property located at 13251 Fairgrove Avenue more particularly described as follows: Tract Mo. 718 south- easterly 88 feet fo northwesterly 225.36 feet of northeasterly 435 feet of Lot 43. 8551-18-12) 2) That the vehicles to which said proceedings relate are as follows: a) JTV 242 1958 Continental b) SJC 169 1961 Buick ld» 518 BHtt 1954 Ford d) JEL 566 1958 Ford c) That a duly noticed public hearing on said matter was con- ducted pursuant to Section 3227 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to determine whether a public nuisance exists? and d) That as a result of the evidence presented at said hearing, it was determined that the same does constitute a public nuisance, and that the public interest requires that the same be abated. SECTION 2. That if the owners of said property, or others having an interest therein, do not abate said nuisance by removing the vehicles from the said property or enclose the area where the vehicles are; to be located with a view obscuring wall within 60 days hereof, the City Manager is instructed to abate the same as provided in Section 3227 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and cause a copy hereof to be forwarded to the City Manager.
