A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK CONFIRMING
ASSESSMENT IN VIRGINIA AVENUE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, did prior
to the 15th day of January, 1971, file with the City Clerk of Said
City, an assessment to represent the cost and expense of the work
and improvement done and made by VIdo Samarzich Company, Contractor,
pursuant to proceedings had and taken by said City Council, under and
pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 70-6 adopted the 7th day of
January, 1970; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City of Baldwin Park, has duly
given notice by publication, and mailing in the time and manner
provided by law of the filing of said assessment and of the time set
for hearing thereon, which time was fixed in said notices as the 3rd
day of February, 1971, at the mooting place of said City Council
located at 14405 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California; and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has received evidence oral and
documentary concerning said assessment and the proper completion
of the work and improvement for which the same Is issued;
WHEREAS, written protests were received from the following property
owners;

and said Council having duly considered said protests, by motion,
overruled the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
that the said assessment and the diagram and warrant attached thereto,
the proceedings leading up to the same and all acts and determinations
relating thereto be and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed,
and the Superintendent of Streets Is hereby ordered to deliver said
warrant, assessment and diagram to VIdo Samarzich Company or Assignee),
the Contractor, forthwith upon the payment by him of the incidental
expenses due thereon.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution,
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5rd day of February, 1971.
