A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK CONFIRMING 1IE CITY
ENGINEER'S REPORT REGARDING CERTAIN
SPJC1AL ASSESSMENTS 70-C-6)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve as
follows:\
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 8104 et seq., of the Baldwin
Park Municipal Code, as a result of a duly noticed public
h< wiring, i t wa:; determined that certain premises, herein-
1 f ter de^f-'r i bed constituted a public nuisance and;
b) That subsequent to the hearing on said matter, the City
Manager did order the same abated and;
c) That the owner of the said premises failed to abate the
said nuisance within the time permitted and pursuant to said
order the City Engineer caused the same to be abated and;
d) That a duly noticed public hearing was held upon the
report of the City Engineer with reference to the cost of
such abatement, said report having been filed with said
Council and;
o) That the report of the cost of the abatement work accom-
plished by tlie City Engineer, and a description of the property
subject to assessment therefore, is as is set forth on the
exhibit attached hereto and incorporated herein by this refer-
ence
SECTION 2, That the report of the City Engineer, attached
hereto as Exhibit A" i s hereby accepted and confirmed. That the
costs of the said work, as shown on said Exhibit shall be assessed
against the property as.thereon described, in the amount as set forth
in said report, including interest, as herein set forth.
SECTION 3. That if such assessment is not paid to the Treasurer
of the City of Baldwin Park within thirty 30) days from the adoption
of this Resolution/ it shall constitute a special assessment against
said property, described on Exhibit, for the amount stated thereon/
together with interest on said sum, at the rate of 7% per annum un-
til paid in full, which lien shall continue/ and be in full force
and effect, until the assessment, and all interest due thereon, is
paid in full.
SECTION 4. That if the said assessment is not paid within the
tim'3 set forth above, the City Clerk shall file certified copies hereof
with the Tax Assessor and Tax Collector for the City each of whom
shall assess and collect the same, in the manner provided in Section
38773 and 38773.5 of the Gavernment Code of the State of California.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution. Said Clerk shall forward for recordation, a
certified,^ copy hereof to the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles;
a certified copy hereof shall be forwarded to the owner of the
property described, by United States mail postage prepaid.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17tjiday of February 1971.

Curb, gutter, sidewalk and drive approach
THE DESCRIPTION of the real property on which this abate-
ment has been completed is as follows:
Lot 14, in Tract 13175, County of Los, Anyeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 251, Pages
42-43 of maps in the office of the County Recorder of
said County.
THE ASSESSMENT assigned against this property by the City
Engineer is:
Curb, gutter, sidewalk and
drive approach $305.85
