A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK SETTING A TIME AND
PLACE FOR A HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER
CERTAIN BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES CONSTITUTE
PUBLIC NUISANCES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows;
a) That pursuant to Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, the City Manager has heretofore conducted an investigation
and has recommended that the City Council conduct a public hearing to
determine whether certain premises and buildings, and structures located
thereon, constitute a public nuisance within the meaning of Section 3200
et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
b) That the premises to which said report relates is described
as follows:
1. That the property located at 4329 Downing more particularly
described as follows: Tract No. 5524 lot commencing at north-
west corner of Lot 20 thence south 49.68 feet thence south 89°57'
east 135 feet thence north to northerly line of Lot 18 thence west
135 feet to beginning part of Lots 18, 19 and 20. 8437-8-13)

2. That the property located at 3152 Maine Avenue more partic-
ularly described as follows: Lot 38 and 43 of Tract No. 24088.

c) That the City Council has accepted the recommendation of the
City Manager, and does hereby declare its intent to conduct a public hearing
to determine whether the said premises above described, constitute a public
nuisance within the meaning of Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code.
SECTION 2. That on March 17, 1971, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., or
as soon thereafter as can be heard, at the Council Chambers in the City
Hall at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California, is hereby
designated as the time and place for the public hearing to determine whether
the premises herein described constitute a public nuisance within the
meaning of said Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager is hereby instructed to give
notice of public hearing to be conducted with regard to the premises here-
inabove described as set forth in Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and cause a copy hereof to be forwarded to the City
Manager.
