A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DIRECTING
PUBLICATION OF NOTICE INVITING BIDS,
ADOPTING SCALE OF PREVAILING WAGES
AND APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS IN
CONNECTION WITH THE RAMONA IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine and declare, as follows:
a) That the City Council of City has
heretofore adopted a Resolution of Intention
with regard to the Ramona Improvement District
which has the effect of having a protest
hearing thereon; and
b) That it is deemed in the public
interest to solicit sealed bids for the con-
struction of such project as soon as is
possible.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Baldwin
Park is hereby ordered to give notice inviting sealed bids
for the doing of the work set forth in Resolution No.
in the time, form and manner provided by law; and the Plans
and Specifications.
SECTION 3. That the City Council of said City,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor
Code, has determined and established the general prevailing
rate of per diem wages for each type of craft or workman
needed to execute or perform the necessary work or improve-
ment.
SECTION 4. That the Schedule of Per Diem Wage Rates"
embodied in the Notice Inviting Sealed Bids and all contract
documents" embodied in that certain bound volume on file in
the office of the City Clerk and date stamped March 5, 197 f
are hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein by
reference in connection with said work and improvement,
SECTION 5. That the time hereby fixed for receiving
sealed proposals or bids for the doing of said work and the
making of said improvements is the 5t.h day of April 1971,
at the hour of 10 A.M. and said bids will be then
publicly opened by the City Clerk and declared in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Baldwin Park; the
City Council will receive and consider such bids at a Regular
City Council meeting on April 7, 1971.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
