A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE CON-
STRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT
TO SECTION 5870, ET SEQ. OF THE STftEETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE 71-3-9)
The City Council of the City of?Baldwln Park does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of;the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq., of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California/ the City Council has found
that more than fifty percent 50%) of the lots in the block designated
as follows:
1) North side of Olive Street between La Rica Avenue
and Baldwin Park Boulevard 73.-S-9) sidewalk and
drive approach)
have in place/ or guaranteed/ sidewalk and drive approach/ hereinafter/
improvements"/ and;
b) That the City Council has initiated proceedings to cause
the construction of said improvements, within that area/ above described,
where the same have not been constructed, and;
c) That j____protest was filed at the time set for
hearing on said matter and was overruled, and^
d) That the public interest, convenience and necessity
require the construction of said improvements.
SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby
ordered to construct said improvements above described, in ticcordclhco
with the City's standard plans and specifications therefore, in the
area above described, in which said improvements have not been con-
structed within the time permitted by law. If said improvements
are constructed by the Superintendent of Streets, he shall prepare
a Report of cost therefore, as prescribed by law.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall forward a copy hereof to the said Super-
intendent.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this JTth day of March______,
