RULE XVII CHANCES IN RULES

Section 255. Rule-Making Hearings. Wherever any
change in these rules is proposed, the Personnel Board
and Council shall hold hearings thereon, and shall give
notice of the time and place of such hearing by posting
such notice in three 3) public places in the City Hfkll,
ten 10) days prior to the hearing and by mailing to any
person requesting such notice. At the day and hour set
for such hearing the Chairman in the case of the Board,
and the Mayor, in the case of the Council, shall announce
that the time and place for such hearing has arrived and
briefly indicate the nature of the proposals. Those persons
desiring to be heard in connection with such natter shall
be given a reasonable opportunity to 4o so.
