A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AWARDING
CONTRACT IN CONNECTION WITH RAMONA
BOULEVARD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, on April 5, 1971 bids were publicly
opened by the City Clerk in the Council Chamber pursuant
to Resolution No.71-71) for doing the work and improvement
described in Resolution of Intention No<>71-70 for the
construction of improvements in Ramona Boulevard Assess-
ment District, in the City of Baldwin Park, which Reso-
lution of Intention was adopted on March 5, 1971
and is hereby expressly referred to for a description of
said work and improvement and for all particulars relative
to the proceedings under said Resolution of Intention, and
the results thereof presented to the City Council at the
next regular meeting of the Council on April 7, 1971
SECTION 1. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED,
that the City Council of the City Of Baldwin Park hereby
rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein
mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said
work and making said improvements to the lowest responsible
bidder, to wit:
Strecker Construction Co./ Santa Fe Springs, California,
at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Parl,
SECTION 2» The City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of said award in the Baldwin Park Bulletin,
a newspaper published and circulated in said City of Baldwin
Park, and heretofore designated for that purpose by said
City Council of the City of Baldwin Park.
SECTION 3, That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution,,
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of April
1971.
