A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE
CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL PLAN
COMMUNITY DESIGN STUDY CASE NO. SP-20;
CITY INITIATED).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare, as
follows:
a) That the Planning Commission of
the City has heretofore initiated a study
concerning the amendment of the Comprehensive
General Plan of said City with reference to
street circulation for the area bounded on
the north by Waco Street, on the south by
Fairgrove Avenue, on the east by Fraser Street,
and on the west by Mangum Street; and
b) That the said Commission has con-
ducted a duly noticed public hearing upon said
matter and has recommended to the Council that
the said Comprehensive General Plan be amended
in the manner as shown on Exhibit A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference; and
c) That the City Council has heretofore
conducted a duly noticed public hearing upon
said recommendation and has determined that the
public interest, convenience and necessity
require that said General Plan be amended as
recommended by the Commission,
SECTION 2. That the said amendment to the Comprehensive
General Plan as is depicted on Exhibit A" attached hereto,
be, and the same hereby is, approved. The City Clerk is
directed to take the steps necessary to reflect said amend-
ment upon all copies of the City's Comprehensive General
Plan.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk 3 hall certify the
adoption hereof and cause a copy of this Resolution to be
forwarded to the Secretary of the Planning Commission.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of Apri l 1971.
