HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971 103 CC RESO1971 103 CC RESOæPRESOLUTION NO. 71- 103 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER CERTAIN BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCES THE CITY COUNCIL OF HE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: a) That pursuant to Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, the City Manager has heretofore conducted an investi- gation and has recommended that the City Council conduct a public hear- ing to determine whether certain premises and buildings, and structures located thereon, constitute a public nuisance within the meaning of Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code. b) That the premises to which said report relates is described as follows: 1. That the property located at 14215 Palm Avenue more particularly described as follows: Tract No. 2102 east 71 feet of Lot 16. 8544-17-10) 71-N-9) 2. That the property located at 13315 Garvey Avenue more particularly described as follows: Tract No- 718 lot commencing south 50053130" east 305.36 feet from most northerly corner of Lot 43 thence south 50°53'30" east 96 feet thence south 39006130" west to northwest line of Garvey Avenue thence southwest thereon to omitted portion in Assessor's Map Book. 8551-18-14) 71-N-10) 3. That the property located at 4631 Merced Avenue more particularly described as follows: Lot 99 of Tract No. 4624 except that portion of dedicated street. 8537-19-89) 71-N-ll) 4. That the property located at 13449 Dunia Street more particularly described as follows: Lot 18 of Tract No. 21614. 8537-31-6), 71-N-12) 5. That the property located at 14924 Cragmont more particularly described as follows: Tract No. 5731 west 47 feet of east 94 feet of Lots 14 and 15. 8414-2-20) 71-N-13) 6. That the property located at 4446,4.8 & 58 Center Street more particularly described as follows: Lot 42 of Tract No. 4624. 8537-17-3) 71-N-14) c) That the City Council has accepted the recommendation of the City Manager, and does hereby declare its intent to conduct a public hearing to determine whether the said premises above described, constitute a public nuisance within the meaning of Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code* SECTION 2. That on May 5, 1971, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., or as soon therafter as can be heard, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California, is hereby designated as the time and place for the public hearing to determine whether the premises herein described constitute a public nuisance within the meaning of said Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwn Park Municipal Code. That the City Manager is hereby instructed to give notice of public hearing to be conducted with regard to the premises hereinabove described as set forth in Section 3200 et seq./ of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and cause a copy hereof to be forwarded to the City Manager. APPROVED AND ADOTPED this 7th day Of Apri 1971 E^IA.
