A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK GRANTING
A ZONE VARIANCE APPLICATION APPLICANT:
PERSONAL CHRISTIANITY CHAPEL; CASE NO:
ZV-234).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare, as
follows:
a) That the owners of certain real
property located at 14952 E. Pacific Avenue,
in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, as is more
particularly described in Planning Commission
Resolution No. PC71-1, have heretofore made
application for a zone variance to allow an
encroachment of a building within a required
rear yard area; and
b) That the said matter was the sub-
ject of a public hearing before the Planning
Commission of said City which denied the said
application; and
c) That a timely appeal was filed,
appealing the decision of the Commission to
the City Council; and
d) That the said matter was duly con-
sidered by the City Council at a duly noticed
public hearing, and based upon the evidence
presented, the Planning Commission's records
and files, and each member of the Council
beLng familiar with the site, it was determined
that the facts required by Section 9471 of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code were present and
that the said zone variance should be granted,
in part as hereinafter described.
SECTION 2. That the above described zone variance be,
and the same hereby is, granted provided that the encroachment
within the required rear yard area of the proposed building
shall not exceed ten 10*) feet measured from the front line
of the said required rear yard area, and that the applicant
shall comply with all applicable laws, including, but not
limited to, the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, except as
expressly herein provided.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a certified
copy hereof to the Secretary of the Planning Commission and
to the applicant«
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of April 1971.
