A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE PERSONNEL
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY.^
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That Section 204 of Rule XI of the
Personnel Rules and Regulations of the City of Baldwin
Park, is hereby amended to read as follows:
204. Holidays. The following shall be
general City holidays:
1) January 1st;
2) the 3rd Monday in February;
3) the last Monday in May;
4) July 4th;
5) the 1st Monday in September;
6) September 9th, known as Admission Day";
7) the 4th Monday in October, known as
Veterans Day";
8) December 25th;
9) Good Friday, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 P.M.;
10) The day in November designated as
Thanks giving Day";
11) Such other days as may be designated
as holidays by the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park;
12) If January 1st, July 4th, September 9th
or December 25th, falls upon a Sunday,
the Monday following such shall be deemed
to be a holiday; if any of the holidays
designated in this Subparagraph falls
on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall
be deemed to be a holiday."
SECTION 2. That Section 205 of said Personnel Rules
and Regulations is hereby amended to read as follows:
205. Regular Hours of Work. The regular
hours of work for full-time employees, excepting
a City Manager, department heads and assistant
department heads, shall be forty 40) hours per
week."

SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption of this Resolution,
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April
1971.
