Home My WebLink About1971 129 CC RESO1971 129 CC RESO;¢fìèŒRESOLUTION NO. 71-129 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND DE- TERMINING THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING THE SAME ABATED 71-N-14) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: a) That pursuant to Section 3200 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, proceedings have been initiated to determine whether certain premises/ and buildings and structures thereon constitute a public nuisance; and b) That the property located at 4448,50,58 Center more particularly described as follows: Lot 42 of Tract No. 4624. 8537-17-3) 71-N-14) c) That a duly noticed public hearing having been con- ducted, pursuant to Section 3203 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to determine whether the buildings and structures on said property, in their present state, constitute a public nuisance; and d) That as a result of the evidence presented at said hearing, it was determined that the same does constitute a public nuisance, and that the public interest requires that the same be abated; and e) That the staff report, relating to this matter, is hereby approved and adopted by this reference. SECTION 2. That the owners of said property, or others having an interest therein, shall abate said nuisance in the manner set forth in the staff report, as approved by this City Council. If such abatement is not accomplished, as required hereby, within 60 days from the date here- of, the City Manager shall abate the same, as provided in Section 3208 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and cause copies hereof to be forwarded as prescribed by the Baldwin Park Municipal Code. LOCATION: 4448,50 & 58 Center Street II. ZONING: R-l III. DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION OF PREMISES: Substandard structures and general cleanup of premises. IV. INSPECTION REPORTS: 1. LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT: No violations observed. 2. LOS ANGELES COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT: Weeds, cars, lumber, trash and substandard building on property. Recommend elimination of possible rodent harborage and abate substandard dwelling. 3. BALDWIN PARK POLICE DEPARTMENT: Abandoned panel truck in front yard. Truck could possibly be used as a hiding place or temporary living quarters for runaway juveniles. Recommend panel truck be removed from location. 4. BALDWIN PARK PLANNING DEPARTMENT: The structure on this property does confront to the present zone and general plan. Violations are no off street parking, no paved driveway, disabled vehicle stored in front yard, old sheds, weeds and debris. Recommend raze all sheds and vehicle and general cleanup of premises. 5. BALDWIN PARK BUILDING DEPARTMENT: Recommend demolition of shed north of dwelling at 4458 Center. Rehabilitate or demolish structures at 4448- 50 Center. It is recommended that the Public Nuisance be abated by the following: 1. Remove shed between house and property line at 4458 Center. Picture A". 2. Remove all trash, debris, rubbish and weeds from 4450-48 Center.
