OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA 71-S-50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56 and 57) The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park. does resolve as follows: j SECTION I." That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find", determine and declare as follows: a) That curbs and gutters are required in the following blocks: 1. East side of Syracuse Avenue between Bess Avenue and Torch Street 71-S-50) 2. East side of Syracuse Avenue between Fairgrove Street and Waltham Street 71-S-51) 3. East side of Syracuse Avenue between Aukland Street and Finchley Street 71-S-52) 4. East side of Syracuse Avenue between Salisbury Street and Royston Street 71-S-53) 5. East side of Syracuse Avenue between Blenheim Street and Salisbury Street 71-S-54) 6. East side of Syracuse Avenue between Ramona Boulevard and Blenheim Street 71-S-55) 7. Northeast side of Bess Avenue between Athol Street and Mangum Street 71-S-56) 8. West side of Foster Avenue between Foster Circle and Frazier Street 71-S-57) b) That it is the intention of the City Council to cause curb and gutter, hereinafter, improvements" to be constructed at the sole expense of the owners of properties in and alqng said above described areas, pursuant to Section 5870, et seq-, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby instructed to mail and post notices to construct said improvements, as required by law. SECTION 3. That pursuant to said Section 5870, et seq-, the City Council does hereby declare that on the 4th day of August, 1971, at 7:30 P.M./ or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard in the Council Chambers, at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California, it will hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the construction of said improvements. SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and protests. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, and shall forward copies hereof to the Superintendent of Streets. PASSED, APPROVED AN..
