A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK,
CONFIRMING ASSESSMENTS IN WALNUT
STREET ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, did heretofore file
with the City Clerk of said City, an assessment to represent the cost
and expense of the work and improvement done and made by Crowell and
Larson, contractor, pursuant to proceedings had and taken by said City
Council, under and pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 70-317
adopted the 16th day of December, 1970; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City of Baldwin Park has duly
given notice by publication, and mailing in the time and manner pro-
vided by law of the filing of said assessment and of the time set for
hearing thereon, which time was fixed in said notices as the 18th day
of August, 1971, at the meeting place of said City Council located at
14403 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California; and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has received evidence oral and
documentary concerning said assessment and the proper completion of
the work and improvement for which the same is issued; and
WHEREAS, written protests were received from the following
property owners:

and said Council duly considered said protests, and by motion, over-
ruled the same*
NOW, THEREFORE. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles. State of California, that
the said assessment and the diagram and warrant attached thereto, the
proceedings leading up to the same and a11 acts and determinations
relating thereto be and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed, and
the Superintendent of Streets is hereby ordered to deliver said warrant,
assessment and diagram to Crowell and Larson, the contractor or his assigns,
forthwith upon the payment by him of the incidental expenses due thereon.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 18th day of August, 1971.
