A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE CON-
STRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT
TO SECTION 5870, ET SEQ. OF THE STREETS
AMD HIGHWAYS CODE 71-S-68, 69, 70 & 71)

The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq., of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council has
ordered the owners of lots in the blocks designated as follows:
1) Southwest side of Pacific Avenue between Vineland
Avenue and Big Dalton Avenue 71-S-68)'
2) Northeast side of Pacific Avenue between Stichman
Avenue and Big Dalton Avenue 71-S-69)
3) Northeast side of Pacific Avenue between Vineland
Avenue and Stichman Avenue 71-S-70)
4) Southeast side of Stichman Avenue between Pacific
Avenue and Central Avenue 71-S-71)
to construct curb and gutter, and;
b) That the City Council has initiated proceedings to cause
the construction of said improvements, within those areas, above
described, where the same have not been constructed, and;
c) That no protest was filed at the time set for
hearing on said matter, and;
d) That the public interest, convenience and necessity
require the construction of said improvements.
SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby
ordered to construct said improvements above described, in accordance
with the City's standard plans and specifications therefore, in the
areas above described, in which said improvements have not been con-
structed within the time permitted by law. If said improvements are
constructed by the Superintendent of Streets, he shall prepare a Report
of cost therefore, as prescribed by law.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall forward a copy hereof to the said Super-
intendent.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November_______r
