A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING
THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 5870. ET
SEQ.. dF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE 71-S-77, 78 & 79)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find,
determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq., of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, the City Council his ordered the owners of lots
In the blocks designated as follows:
1) South side of Frazier Street between Kenmore Avenue and Merced
Avenue 71-S-77)
2) Northwest side of Frazier Street between Earl Avenue and Foster
Avenue 71-S-78)
3) Northwest side of Frazier Street between Tracy Street and Emery
Avenue 71-S-79)
to construct curb and gutter; and,

b) That the City Council has Initiated proceedings to cause the construct-
ion of said Improvements, within those areas, above described, where the same have not
been constructed; and,
c) That no protests were filed at the time set for hearing on said matter;
and,
d) That the public Interest, convenience and necessity require th* construct-
ion of said improvements.
SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby ordered to construct
said Improvements above described. In accordance with the City's standard plans and
specifications therefor, in the areas above described, in which said Improvements have
not been constructed within the time permitted by law. If said Improvements are
constructed by the Superintendent of Streets, he shall prepare a Report of cost there-
for, as prescribed bv. law.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Reso-
lution and shall forward a copy hereof to the said Superintendent.
PASSED. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of January. 1972.
