APPLICANT: DOUGLAS OIL CO. CASE NO. CP-171. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find and detemlne as follows a. That on January 5 and 19, 1972, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing on the application for a Conditional Use Penult for an existing service station on certain Hereafter described property; and, r b. That the property to which said Conditional Use Permit application relates Is located at 13050 Ramona Blvd., In the City of Baldwin Park. County of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly described as: Parcel No. 30, page 1 of the 1971 Los Angeles County Assessor's Nap Book No. 8552. c. That In the recent past the operation of this station has created an eyesore and caused problems to neighboring properties with trash, broken glass and excessive vehicle traffic using the alley and residential streets for access; and, d. That the facts required by Section 9472 of the Baldwin Park Zoning Code are present. SECTION 2. That the Conditional Use Permit, as described above. Is hereby APPROVED, subject to the following conditions: a. That the applicant shall construct and thereafter operate all uses permitted hereby. In substantial accordance with that specific plot plan, attached hereto marked Exhibit B" dated January n; 1972. as modified, added hereto and Incoroorated herein by this reference; and, b« That the applicant shall Install street trees along the Ramona Boulevard frontage of the subject property; and, c. That the applicant shall remove all portable signs forthwith on the subject property; and, d. That the applicant shall not conduct any major mechanical work on vehicles outside the building; and, e. That the applicant shall Install walls and fences per Exhibit B"; and, f. That the applicant shall Install a 5 foot high decorative colored block wall around the trash bins; and, g. That the applicant shall Install raised. Irrigated landscaped planters per Exhibit B"; and, h. That the applicant shall stripe all parking areas as shown on Exhibit B"; and, j. That the applicant shall show all desired and existing signs on the plot plan size and location); and, k. P. q. SECTION 3. That the applicant shall comply with the standards In Section 9652.8 thru 9652.11 and 9653; and, That the applicant Is not permitted outside storage; and, That the applicant Is not permitted the auxiliary businesses of a tow service, vehicle storage and trailer rentals: and, That the applicant shall remove all painted signs from the garage door and paper signs from the walls; and, That the Conditional Use Permit shall beconte null and void If all work Is not completed and approved by the Building Division within 4 months after the adoption of this Resolution; and, That the applicant shall sign an affidavit within thirty 30) days he has read and accepts all the conditions of approval for this Conditional Use Permit before a building permit will be Issued.
