A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE
GENERAL' PLAN COMMUNITY DESIGN STUDY CASE NO.
SP-22). CITY INITIATED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby
find, determine and declare, as follows:
a) That the Planning Commission of the City has heretofore
Initiated a study concerning the amendment of the Comprehensive General Plan of
said City with reference to street circulation for the area bounded by Walnut
Street, Los Angeles Street, Merced Avenue, and Charles Bursch School, properties
affected 4304, 4310,4316,4324, 4334 and 4340 Walnut Street and 4305, 4315,4325.
4335, 4343 and 4349 Merced Avenue; and,
b) That the said Commission has conducted a duly noticed public
hearing upon said matter and has recommended to the Council that the said Compre-
hensive General Plan be amended to delete the future street as shown on Exhibit
A" attached hereto and Incorporated herein by this reference; and,
c) That the City Council has heretofore conducted a duly noticed
public hearing upon said reconnendation and has determined that the public Interest
convenience and necessity require that said General Plan be amended as recommended
by the Commission.
SECTION 2. That the future street as shown on Exhibit A" be deleted from
the Comprehensive General Plan. The Planning Director Is directed to take steps
necessary to reflect said amendment upon alt copies of the City's Comprehensive
General Plan.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption hereof
and cause a copy of this Resolution to be forwarded to the Secretary of the
Planning Commission.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 19th day of January^ 1972.
