A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK EXTENDING
CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY
OF THE LATE
FRANK G. BONELLI
ON BEHALF OF THE SAID CITY
AND ITS RESIDENTS
WHEREAS, the late Honorable Frank G. Bonelli devoted almost twenty-six
years of service to State, County and Municipal government in California; and
WHEREAS, these years of service included positions as Councilman and
Mayor of the City of Huntington Park, California, 1946-53; Member of the California
State Assembly. 52nd District, 1953-58; and member and Chairman of the Los Angeles
County Board of Supervisors since 1958 to the present time; and
WHEREAS, the late Supervisor Frank G. Bonelli, through his conscientious
efforts to resolve the varied and complex problems of State and local government,
had the continuing support and respect of his constituents; and
WHEREAS, the late Supervisor Frank G. Bonelli consistently advocated the
need for greater efficiency and econorny in government at all levels;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council and the Residents
of the City of Baldwin Park hereby express their sincere and deepest sympathy to
the Family of the late Frank G» Bonelll. and express appreciation for his years
of dedicated efforts toward the orderly growth and development of Baldwin Park
and local, county and State government in California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the family of
Frank G. Bonelli, Member of the Board of Supervisors.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 16th day of February, 1972.
