A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RIGHT OF
WAY CERTIFICATE FOR RIVERGRADE ROAD AT
LIVE OAK AVENUE, PROJECT T^3041 108),
CASH CONTRACT NO. 2457
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council a
certain Right of Way Certificate for Rivergrade Road at Live Oak
Avenue, T-O.P.I.C.S. Project No. T-3041 108). The City of Baldwin
Park agrees to hold the State of California harmless from any
liability which may result in the event the right of way is not
clear as certified within the boundaries of the City of Baldwin
Park. if the State is named in a damage suit, as a result of the
right of way not being clear as certified within the boundaries of
the City of Baldwin Park, the City of Baldwin Park agrees that at
the request of the State, it will assume full responsibility for
the conduct of the defense or provide such assistance as the State
may require and will pay any judgments issued against the State
and all costs in connection with the defense.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Said Right of Way Certificate is in all respects
approved on behalf of the City of Baldwin Park.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute
said certificate on behalf of the City.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of March_______/
