A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF A FUTURE STREET BOUNDED
NORTHEASTERLY BY MONTEREY AVENUE,
SOUTHWESTERLY BY REXWOOD AVENUE,
SOUTHEASTERLY BY BALDWIN PARK BOULE-
VARD AND NORTHWESTERLY BY FRAZIER
STREET
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park docs resolve
dS follOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park docs hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of
portions of said future street, in the City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on that certain map
or plan on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, being
designated as No. V-72-1 and to which reference is hereby made for
further particulars, said area proposed for vacation is described
as follows:
PARCELS A, B, C, and D as shown on Map V-72-1
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the pro-
visions of Section 8300 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:30 P.M. on the 17th day of
May, 1972, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers
at the City Hall located at 14403 f-:ast Pacific Avenue, City of
Baldwin Park, County of Los Angelos, State of California, is hereby
fixed as the place for hearing all persons interested in or obioctirM
to the proposed vacation as above described.
SECTION 4. That the Street Superintendent shall cause notices
of the proposed vacation to be posted in the manner set forth in Section
8322 of the said Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and cause the same to be published or posted in the
manner described by law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April
1972.
