A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACATION OF CER-
TAIN PORTIONS OF A FUTURE STREET BOUNDED NORTH-
EASTERLY BY MONTEREY AVENUE, SOUTHWESTERLY BY
REXWOOD AVENUE, SOUTHEASTERLY BY BALDWIN PARK
BOULEVARD AND NORTHWESTERLY BY FRAZIER STREET V-72-1)
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Street Vacation Act
of 1941", the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park did, on the 19th day of
April, 1972, adopt its Resolution of Intention No* 72-62, declarinn its intent-
ion to vacate certain portions of a future street in the City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as described on Exhibit B".
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published and notice of
street vacation duly posted, all in the form, place, time and manner required
by law; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, at the hearing designated by said Resolution
of Intention, on the 17th day of May, 1972, heard all of the evidence offered
in relation to the proposed vacation.
WW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
FIND, DETERMINE. RESOLVE and ORDER, as follows:
SECTION 1. That said certain portions of the future street, described
in Exhibit B"» not being needed for present or prospective public street
purposes, and therefore the same be and are hereby, vacated for public street
purposes.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to
the passage of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof,
attested by her under the seal of the City to be recorded in the office of
the County Recorder, Los Angeles County, California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of Hay 1972.
