A RESOLUTION OF TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COTIRMING ASSESSMENT
IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 71-1
WHEREAS. the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Baldkrin Park,
County of Los Angeles. State of California, did on the 21st day of April,
1972. file with the City Clerk of said City, an assessment to represent
the cost and expense of the work and l^roveaent done and Bade by Strecker
Construction Ccpany, the contractor, pursuant to proceedings had and
taken by said City Council, under and pursuant to Resolution of Intention
No. 71-70 adopted the 3rd day of March, 1971; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City of Baldwin Park has duly given
notice by publication, and ailing in the flae and Manner provided by law
of the filing of said assessaent and of the tine set for hearing thereon,
rilich ti«e was fixed in said notices as the 17th day of Mqy, 1972. at the
eeting place of said City Council located at 14403 E. Pacific Avenue, in
the City of Baldwin Park; and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has received evidence oral and
docwentary concerning said assessment and the proper ccptetlon of the
work and Tproveaent for which the sane is issued; and
WHEREAS, protests were received fm the following property owners:

14 R. W. Adair
45 Camie Harris
55 Ruth G. Thone
and said Council having duly considered said protests, by Motion overruled
the sane.
NOW. THEREFORE, IT IS TOREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cily
of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, that the said
assessment and the diagram and warrant attached thereto, the proceedings
leading up to the sane and alt acts and detenu nations relating thereto be
and the sane are hereby ratified and confirmed, and the Superintendent of
Streets Is hereby ordered to deliver said warrant, assessment and diagran
to Strecker Construction Company, the contractor, or his assigns, forthwith
upon the payment by him of the Incidental expenses due thereon.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 17th day of May. 1972.
