A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND DETER-
MINING THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE
AND ORDERING THE SAME ABATED 72-A-36)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 3225 et seq., of the Baldwin
Park Municipal Code, proceedings were initiated to determine whether
certain vehicles constitute a public nuisance; and
b) That the property and vehicles which are the subject
of such proceedings are described as follows:
1) That property located at 4830 Maine Avenue
more particularly described as follows: Tract No. 4911
northerly 45 feet of southerly 320 feet of Lot 1.
2) That the vehicles to which said proceedings
relate are as follows:
a) QRB 725 1953 Cadillac
b) QRB 726 No Record
c) GWN 772 No Record
d) GPJ 444 1953 Chevrolet
e) JDG 600 1959 Chevrolet Stationwagon
f) QUA 315 1957 Chevrolet
g) QSJ 124 No Record
h) Blue Plymouth No Identification
c) That a duly noticed public hearing on said matter was
conducted pursuant to Section 3227 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code, to determine whether a public nuisance exists; and
d) That as a result of the evidence presented at said
hearing, it was determined that the same does constitute a public
nuisance, and that the public interest requires that the same be
abated.
SECTION 2. That if the owners of said property, or others
having an interest therein, do not abate said nuisance by removing
the vehicles from the said property or enclose the area where the
vehicles are to be located with a view obscuring wall within 120
days hereof, the City Manager is instructed to abate the same as
provided in Section 3227 et seq., of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and cause a copy hereof to be forwarded to the
City Manager.
