RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND DE-
TERMINING THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC
NUISANCE AND ORDERING THE SAME ABATED.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows;
a) That pursuant to Section 3200 et seq. of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code, proceedings have been initiat-
ed to determine whether certain premises/ and buildings
and structures thereon constitute a public nuisance; and
b) That the property located at 15327 Nubia
Street more particularly described as follows: Lot
except that portion of dedicated street commencing at
intersection of easterly line of easterly of northeast-
erly h of northeasterly h of Section 8 Township 1 South
Range 10 west with northerly line of Tract No. 7701 thence
westerly on said northerly line to a point northerly omitted
portion in Assessor's Map Book of Lot 8. 8413-4-11)

c) That a duly noticed public hearing having
been conducted, pursuant to Section 3203 et seq., of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to determine whether the
buildings and structures on said property, in their pre-
sent state, constitute a public nuisance; and
d) That as a result of the evidence presented
at said hearing, it was determined that the same does
constitute a public nuisance; and that the public inter-
est requires that the same be abated; and
e) That the staff report, relating to this
matter, is hereby approved and adopted by this reference.
SECTION 2. That the owners of said property, or others
having an interest therein, shall abate said nuisance in the
manner set forth in the staff report, as approved by this City
Council. If such abatement is not accomplished, as required hereby,
within 60 days from the date hereof, the City Manager shall
abate the same, as provided in Section 3208 et seq., of the Baldwin
Park Municipal Code,
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of the Resolution and cause copies hereof to be forward-
ed as prescribed by the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.

SUBJECT: Public Nuisance C.i.so 72-N-37, 15327 Nubia Street
Property is an abandoned dwelling witli considerable damage
causing hazardous conditions:
1. Broken doors and windows.
2. Missing switches and plugs.
3. Holes in the walls.
4. Damaged lavatory and toilet.
5. General dilapidation and improper maintenance.
After careful review of the subject property, the staff determined
that the property should be declared a public nuisance and rec-
ommends the following action;
1. Clear all trash and debris from the inside of the dwelling
and secure all doors and windows with ply-scolo to avoid
any further damage.
2. Rehabilitate to present Uniform Building Code prior to
any occupancy.
3. Conduct lot clean up including weeds
